Below are a list of mountain biking magazines that get it. Inspired journalism, quality content and impressive photography. Much of the content speaks to the trail/AM rider.



The pioneers in presenting the stories behind the rides – articles with substance. The recent design update has taken this magazine to another level.

NZ mountain bike magazine from the photographic brilliance of Caleb Smith. The right mix of features, product reviews and news.


Australia’s premier mountain bike magazine featuring the key stories from the vibrant endurance/marathon scene in Australia and NZ.


An impressive US mountain bike magazine with articles that are well supported by the talented staff & contributing photographers.


UK based magazine with a lean towards the Trail & All Mountain rider. Classic magazine format with product reviews and tests, route maps and features.

A US based magazine that gets behind the story, events and characters of mountain biking. Quality journalism in a similar vein to Privateer and Singletrack magazine from the UK.

Flow Mountain Bike

A new (Oct 2012) quarterly magazine from ex editors of Australian Mountain Bike, with quality writers and photographers, with a largely Australian based voice.
